DTU Roadrunners has been competing in the Shell Eco-Marathon since 2004, firstly in the Prototype class and later on also in the Urban Concept class. Through the years, the team has managed to achieve some remarkable results including numerous class victories as well as unofficial world records in fuel consumption.
Prototype results:
DTU Roadrunners participated in the Prototype class at the Shell Eco-Marathon for the first time in 2004 and have been repetitive competitors ever since. The team has however not competed in the class between 2012 and 2016 due to insufficient resources for the construction and development of the vehicle. DTU Roadrunners returned to the Prototype class in the Shell Eco-Marathon 2016.
