UC Design

Fueled by a highly modified combustion engine, the urban concept is built as an energy efficient inner city runabout.

PT Design

The prototype class is solely an experiment in how far you can transport a person on as little fuel as possible. Aerodynamics and an efficient engine are the key elements.

 

Engine types

The hydrogen fuel-cell in the DTU·Innovator and the experimental GTL-engine in the DTU·Dynamo are both cutting edge technological advances in eco-friendly transportation.

UC did it! They won the Urban Concept - Internal Compustion Engine with an amazing result of 348 km/L in the fourth and final run.

PT fought all they could but it wasn’t enough and due to technical malfunctions they had to abort the final measured run – therefore they ended without a measured result.
